So many courses, so little time . . .
Last Sunday’s Rochester Democrat and Chronicle included a feature section: Golf Guide ‘07. Here it is online, although fair warning: the D&C puts their stuff behind a firewall after awhile.
The cover story is a compilation of peoples’ favorite holes — i.e., a fantasy course built out of 18 holes from local courses, each nominated by a reader.
What’s amazing to me as I look at the piece is how many courses there are, here, in the Rochester area.
Of course, I’m really a newbie golfer. Sort of. I played as a kid but as an adult only took it up again last summer.
Anyway. What better way to start blogging here than to tip my hat at all the local courses I haven’t golfed. Maybe by the end of this summer . . .
