Yesterday’s Wall Street Journal has a piece by health columnist Tara Parker Pope about what your golf game might be saying about your fitness.
Some of it is no-brainer stuff. If you can’t make it around the course without taking a cart, yeah, chances are you’re not in the best of cardiovascular condition.

At long last, I got out to golf yesterday — met my parents at Lakeview Golf Course in Owasco.
